Dhaka University

Dhaka University is a public research university located in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh. Established in 1921, it is the oldest university in Bangladesh and one of the most prestigious educational institutions in the country.

Jagannath University

Jagannath University Former Jagannath college is a state-funded public university at 9–10,Chittaranjan Avenue in Sadarghat, Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

It was transformed into Jagannath University in 2005 by passage in the national parliament of the Jagannath University Act-2005.Even though it is one of the most famous and academically one of the best universities in Bangladesh, JnU is the only non-residential University in this country.

Jagannath University opens its first residential hall, only for females Jagannath University is in the southern part of Dhaka city near the River Buriganga and a new super modern campus of approximately 200 acres is being built at Keraniganj. Total campus area is more than 210 acres with three campus and a girls residence hall.

It has 36 departments under seven faculties and two Institutes. Every department follows the semester system

Sher–E-Bangla Agricultural University

Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University is the oldest agriculture educational institution in Bangladesh and South Asia.

It is situated in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka. It was established on 11 December 1938 as Bengal Agricultural Institute (BAI) by Sher-e-Bangla A. K. Fazlul Haque, the then Chief Minister of undivided Bengal and later upgraded to university in 2001 renamed it as Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University.

Since its establishment, the university plays a role in agricultural research and development (R&D) of the region through the creation of knowledge, agricultural technology generation and transfer, crop diversification and intensification for the benefit of farming communities. SAU offers undergraduate, post graduate, and Ph.D. degrees through course credit system.

In addition, nearly 5,700 graduates plus 600 postgraduates have been produced by the Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. Presently about 3,300 undergraduate and postgraduate students are enrolled and are taught by faculty members.

Rajshahi University
